Log-In
32 miles, 1800 feet elevation. Scenic rural roads on rolling hills with a few challenging climbs. Come ride with us on some of our favorite roads in the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve. For Intermediate Riders (average pace 11-13 mph). Note, we are also offering a shorter ride for advanced beginners.
Leaving from Poolesville, MD we will explore some of our favorite areas in the Montgomery County Agriculture Reserve passing working farms, cornfields and woodlands. In 1980, the county designated 93,000 acres to be reserved primarily for agricultural use. This area is now a favorite of cyclists in the region due to low-traffic roads and beautiful scenery. This ride is suitable for intermediate riders who like hills. Our average pace will be 11-13 mph. As with all our rides, there will be a leader and a sweep, and no one will be left behind.
After you complete your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with additional event details and start location.
There is limited space, so please register early. Although this ride is FREE for Members, you do need to register.
