Nestled in the heart of Virginia's Piedmont, Sky Meadows offers sweeping views of pastoral farms, charming vineyards, and rolling hills that stretch toward the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Whether you're hiking under a canopy of fiery foliage or pausing at a scenic overlook, each trail invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with nature's seasonal splendor. 

We utilize several trails, including the Appalachian Trail, to loop together 5.5 miles as we traverse forests, meadows, and ridgelines. We have a nice warm up before we start our one and only climb of about 1,000 feet. Good to get it out of the way and begin a wonderful journey through a tapestry of golden meadows and vibrant woodlands as autumn paints the landscape in rich hues.

As with all WWO hikes, there will be a leader and a sweep, and no one will be left behind.
