Prince William Forest Park provides visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in an abundance of natural features, ecosystems, flora, and fauna. Not to mention old-timey history!

Discover Northern Virginia’s best kept secret at PWFP. We’ll be traversing several trails to create a loop through rolling woodlands and stream valleys. The trail surface is mostly dirt, with some rocky, root stretches and 2 dirt/gravel roads.

The Marine Corp Museum is about a 10-minute drive from the park. It is open 9 – 5 daily and no admission fee, however, donations are graciously accepted. There are multiple exhibits inside and a wonderful walking path outside that circumvents many statues. Both are a great way to pay respect to ALL our military personnel. The museum store will be open along with the Devil Dog Diner and Tun Tavern.

As with all WWO hikes, there will be a leader and a sweep, and no one will be left behind.
