Baltimore and Annapolis Rail Trail Bicycle Ride

31 miles on a flat, tree-lined paved trail --  a great ride in the summertime. For Advanced Beginners and above.


This ride is on the Baltimore and Annapolis (B&A) Trail that follows the route of freight and passenger service started in 1880 between Annapolis and Baltimore. Today, the 112-acre “linear park” winds through parks, neighborhoods and natural wooded areas between Annapolis and Glen Burnie. Along the trail there is a literal alphabet of historical markers, from A to Z as well as displays for the sun and planets.  And an ice cream stop on our way back! This ride is for advanced beginners and above. All types of bikes are suitable for the ride. As with all our rides, we will have a leader and sweep and no one will be left behind.
