About UsWashington Women Outdoors (WWO) is a non-profit, volunteer organization that has been sponsoring activities for women since 1977. WWO hosts outdoor events in the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC area in a supportive and fun environment. We have a passion for any outdoor adventure that tests our strength and broadens our horizons. We welcome women of diverse ages, races, and lifestyles, and activities are available for all skill levels.
