This hike is a favorite of ours during the winter time but it also has a lot to offer in the summertime too. Please join us as we walk through the woods among the mountain laurel blooms to the top of ridges that provide picturesque views of the surrounding piedmont area below. We’ll experience an elevation gain and loss of 4,000 feet. Note, the trail is mostly rocky and can be slippery when leaf covered. We recommend sturdy shoes/boots and trekking poles.

There is no entry fee but a donation is greatly encouraged.  Donation box is located at the entrance.
