22 miles, 1000 feet elevation, on rural and suburban roads. Suitable for advanced beginners who want a little hill experience and above.
This ride winds through the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center’s open fields and farmland, and includes a lovely ride on the forested drive leading to the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge. The Beltsville Agricultural Center is an oasis of green in a rapidly urbanizing area. We plan to ride 22 miles on roads that are rolling hills to moderately hilly. We will have a leader and sweep and no one will be left behind. The starting point is a 2 ½ mile ride from the Greenbelt Metro Station.
Although this event is free for Premium Members, please register and register early! There is limited space!
