Discover all that Cape Henlopen State Park has to offer before the summer crowds arrive! This park is an absolute gem with over 5,000 acres of unspoiled natural beauty – beautiful beaches, nature preserve, hiking paths, bike trails, fishing and crabbing – there’s something for everybody. Even for history buffs, a visit to nearby Fort Miles Museum and historical area provides a WWII learning opportunity.

We have two campsites to set up our tents, camp chairs, sleeping and lounging hammocks. Be as active or non-active as you wish as everything is very accessible! Bring your own bike or use bikes from the park; fishing and crabbing licenses are available right next to the pier along with fishing supplies. The beach is less than a mile from the campground on hiking/biking trails or explore the trail through the wetlands to Rehoboth Beach.

Gear sharing, carpooling and all other trip details will be worked out by email the week before the trip.  This trip is Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. There is an entry fee to Cape Henlopen State Park which is not included in the registration fee.
