Baltimore and Annapolis Rail Trail Bicycle Ride
Saturday, Feb 4, 2023
11:00am – 3:00pm
31 miles on a flat, paved trail. Suitable for advanced beginners and above and all bicycles.
This ride is on the Baltimore and Annapolis (B&A) Trail that follows the route of freight and passenger service started in 1880 between Annapolis and Baltimore. Today, the 112-acre “linear park” winds through parks, neighborhoods and natural wooded areas between Annapolis and Glen Burnie. Along the trail there is a literal alphabet of historical markers, from A to Z as well as displays for the sun and planets. We will likely stop for coffee along the way and to warm up.. This ride is for advanced beginners and above. All types of bikes are suitable for the ride. As with all our rides, we will have a leader and sweep and no one will be left behind.
