Baltimore and Annapolis Rail Trail Bicycle Ride
Saturday, Dec 17, 2022
10:00am – 2:00pm
Event Fees
31 miles on a flat, paved trail. For advanced beginners and above.
This ride is on the Baltimore and Annapolis (B&A) Trail that follows the route of freight and passenger service started in 1880 between Annapolis and Baltimore. Today, the 112-acre “linear park” winds through parks, neighborhoods and natural wooded areas between Annapolis and Glen Burnie. Along the trail there is a literal alphabet of historical markers, from A to Z as well as displays for the sun and planets. We will likely stop for coffee along the way (to warm up) and riders may wish to go into Annapolis after the ride to see the town’s holiday decorations or for lunch.
This ride is for advanced beginners and above. All types of bikes are suitable for the ride. As with all our rides, we will have a leader and sweep and no one will be left behind. Although this bicycle ride is free to Premium Members, please register and please register early as there is limited space!
