WWO at the Ride for Clean Rivers
Sunday, Sep 18, 2022
8:00am – 3:30pm
Event Fees
62 miles on mostly flat roads rural roads with a few crossings of busy highways. For Intermediate and Advanced Riders.
Join us to ride as a group at one of our favorite regional ride events – the Ride for Clean Rivers sponsored by ShoreRivers. The ride starts at Chesapeake College in Wye Mills, MD — on the other side of the Bay Bridge. It’s mostly flat, very scenic, low-key, and has good rest stops. We’ll be riding the metric century — 62 miles with an 8:00 AM start. It’s a good way to see what it’s like to ride a metric century and participate in an organized event. The registration fee charged by ShoreRivers goes to a great cause — to help support their efforts to protect and preserve the health of the rivers of the Eastern Shore
If you’d like to join in, go to the ShoreRivers website for more information and to register: https://www.shorerivers.org/event/rideforcleanrivers.
The registration fee is $60 until Aug. 31 and will increase thereafter. (There is no on-site registration.) When you register for the ride, you should identify yourself as part of the Washington Women Outdoors team. WWO will not be charging a separate fee for this event.
