Come join us as we paddle on the beautiful Little Seneca Lake in Black Hill Regional Park. All are welcome! No experience needed. We will learn the basics of getting in and out of the boat and going forward, reverse, and sideways. We will paddle a short distance, traveling at a leisurely pace to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and observe turtles, and birds such as green herons, snowy egrets and Canadian Geese. After we return our kayaks, we’ll have lunch on the beach.
Bring water, lunch and snacks. All other details – what to bring, what to wear, meetup arrangements and driving directions – will be provided by email after you register. Please complete our Waiver & Release as part of registration at this link: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/v/wwotripwaiver/
You can bring your own kayak, paddle and PFD, or the WWO trip fee can include a rental kayak, paddle and PFD.
THERE IS A $5 CASH LAUNCH FEE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THEIR OWN KAYAK IN ADDITION TO THE WWO TRIP FEE.
