Event Fees
42 miles, 2300 feet elevation – on mostly rolling hills. Suitable for advanced riders.
We’ll start in Leesburg with a short ride on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail for a few miles, and then explore the rolling hills, farmlands and villages of the Catoctin Valley. You will be impressed with the incredible vistas. We’ll stop in the charming village of Waterford established in the 1700’s which was home to many Quakers who helped slaves escape to the North. The entire village and surrounding countryside is a National Historic Landmark District noted for its well-preserved 18th and 19th-century character. Our route will take us through several more small Loudoun County communities including the quaint town of Hillsboro where we’ll stop for lunch. This ride has a few giant rollers that are fun and challenging. This ride is for advanced riders. We will have a leader and sweep and no one will be left behind.
