26 miles – mostly flat with two hills on paved trails and low-traffic roads. Advanced beginner and above (and in-shape beginners).
Join us for a great ride in Virginia, near Lorton. This ride visits Gunston Hall and Mason Neck Park with views of the Potomac River and Belmont Bay. Mason Neck Park is a major refuge for bald eagles, osprey and other birds that migrate through the area. This is also the site of historic native American settlements and early European settlers. The ride is mostly flat with two hills and a rest stop at about mile 19. Moderate social pace with a leader and a sweep and no one will be dropped.
