Custer's Second Stand Bicycle Geocaching Trip
Saturday, May 1, 2010
Gettysburg, PA
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
$10 members, $15 non-members
Level: 20 miles
This trip is suitable for in-shape beginners and patient experienced riders.

Have you ever wanted to go geocaching? Do you even know what geocaching is? Geocaching is like treasure hunting with a GPS (Global Positioning System). On this trip, you will learn the basics of using a GPS. Using a GPS, we go to specific coordinates. At these coordinates, there is a question that can only be answered by visiting that place.

This trip will be done on bicycle and will be around 20 miles long. Gettysburg has hills and we will be riding on both country roads and some city streets. We will cover the East Cavalry battlefield where Custer had his second battle as a general. We will also cover portions of the first day battlefield and finish by going to Little Round Top. Along the way, we will stop to do geocaches.

Registration Deadline: Wednesday, April 28, 2010
